Founded in 1922 by Ricci and Navari, the company has been on this site since 1925. Pio Rossi started work here in 1927 at the age of 12 and became the owner in 1966.  He continued working here until 1999 with his sons, Giuseppe and Romolo, who then took over from him. This company’s production has taken many forms over the years, ranging from the reproduction of Siena Cathedral’s exterior columns (6m high and 80 cm in diameter) for the Monuments and Fine Arts Office to work for the 1951 extension of the La Scala Theatre in Milan, which involved the addition of turned, monolithic sections weighing 24 tonnes. It also made fountains for the White House and the Danish Royal Palace, and produced sculptures for artists such as G. Pomodoro,  P. Cascella,  Mormorelli,  I. Mitoraj,  P. Consagra, W. Crovello and even carried out a huge work for J. Van Munstrer in black granite, exhibited at the Contemporary Art Museum in Frankfurt. The product range has broadened in the last 10 years to include sacred and funerary art, but above all building construction and interior decoration.  This includes works done to commission, like balustrades, staircases, cornices, string-courses, arches, interior and exterior facings, sinks, hand-basins, shower bases, tables, etc.
