Marco Giannoni comes from 4 generations of sculptors who have worked in the trade of artistic marble sculpture.
After obtaining a diploma in sculpture from Pietrasanta art school, he joined the family business when he was very young. Here he refined his skill in producing large religious and classical works like Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” (both in bas-relief and full relief), a commission for two New York cemeteries which took 4 years to complete. Since 1988 Marco has had his own personal studio where he has diversified his activities: he teaches students from the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts, produces contemporary sculpture for himself and on commission and supervises the numerous artists who come to the studio to make their sculpture and need guidance in the intricacies of producing a perfect work of art.
